Counseling

Carrollton offers academic, spiritual, and personal guidance to all students. Grades 9-12 students have access to the Office of Academic Resources where they can find a wealth of resources and guidance from counselors that assist with the college admissions process.

The Office of Academic Resources is housed on the second floor of the Barry Building near the Maria Dolores and Maurice R. Ferré Convocation Center on the Barat Campus.

College Counseling

As soon as a student enters Grades 9-12 at Carrollton, the focus on college admission becomes integral to her life as a student. The choices she makes regarding the classes she takes and the intellectual and extra-curricular activities she pursues can have an impact on her choices later. The College Counselors view the college counseling process as a three-pronged approach – Know Yourself, Know the Process, and Know the Colleges. Parents are an integral part of the journey and are provided with relevant programming and opportunities to meet with the College Counselors throughout the process.
